Matthew Christopher

Chiropractor

 

Bio: Dr. Christopher graduated from the D'Youville College Chiropractic Program in 2008. Before D'Youville, he attended the University of Buffalo and received his degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Biochemical Pharmacology. Currently, he is an adjunct professor in the nursing department at Niagara Community College Bryant and Stratton College and the Trocaire College nursing department as well as an assistant lab instructor of adjustive technique at D'Youville College.

 

Also, Dr. Christopher has been asked to speak as a guest lecturer at D'Youville College conducting lectures pertaining to both musculoskeletal health, and E-Commerce for the business departments.

 

Dr. Christopher also currently works with a Semi-Pro Lacrosse team, the Niagara Hawks, providing medical support and care of sports injuries at home and away games.

 

Dr. Christopher is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the New York State Chiropractic Association, and the Student American Chiropractic Association. He is our principal chiropractic specialist.

Michael E. Farrell II

Chiropractor

 

Bio: Dr. Farrell also graduated from the D'Youville College Chiropractic program in 2010. Before D'Youville, he attended Canisius College and received his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education with a Biology Concentration. At Canisius he was a member of the Mens Soccer team earning MAAC All Academic Team honors. 

 

At D'youville College Dr. Farrell was heavily involved with the Student American Chiropractic Association, holding an officer position all four years.

 

He also had the privledge of traveling to Washington DC and participating in a clinical externship at the prestigious George Washington University Hospital Spine and Pain Center, working alongside of some of the nations top pain doctors.

 

Michael is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, as well as certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, and Graston Technique.

Michael T. Pismarov

Chiropractor

 

Bio:

Dr. Pismarov is also D’Youville College Chiropractic Graduate class of 2011.  Having completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology also at D’Youville in 2008.

He has also been privileged to take part in two significant clinical externships while continuing studies at D’Youville. One of which a clinical externship at the world renowned John-Hopkins Hospital in the Blaustein Pain Treatment Center learning some of the most advanced pain treatment options. The other a hands on sports focus working  with the Buffalo Bandits, a professional lacrosse team during the 2010-2011 season.

 

Currently he is an adjunct professor of Anatomy and Physiology and Introduction to health care at Bryant and Stratton College in Getzville NY

 

 

Dr. Pismarov is currently striving to expand his knowledge in not only evidence based medicine but also sports medicine.
